Challenge
Urban life offers vast opportunities — constant stimulation, professional exposure, and convenience. Yet, it often distances us from community connection, grounded living, and a slower rhythm of life.
As an NLP Trainer who has traveled extensively across Indian cities conducting workshops, I often found myself questioning:
“Where do I truly belong? What kind of community do I want to grow with?”
The challenge was not just personal. Small towns like Krishnagiri rarely have access to NLP-based learning or self-development programs. Bringing such an initiative to a smaller town meant addressing skepticism, lack of awareness, and limited exposure to structured mindset training.
The Turning Point
Five years ago, I made the conscious decision to move back to my hometown. Initially, the transition was gradual. But it was during the COVID years that I truly began engaging deeply with the local community, thanks to meaningful networks like BNI Krishnagiri, where I met inspiring local entrepreneurs and professionals.
The real breakthrough came when I decided to host my first NLP Workshop for local business leaders in Krishnagiri.
Implementation
Conducting the Workshop
The workshop was designed specifically for local entrepreneurs, helping them apply NLP principles to enhance communication, leadership, and decision-making in their businesses.
Delivering the program in Tamil, my mother tongue, created an atmosphere of trust, curiosity, and cultural resonance. Participants connected easily to real-life examples and expressed their thoughts more freely.
“It is always a joy to run NLP workshops in Tamil — the local language evokes deeper discussions and brings NLP closer to everyday life.”
Community Collaboration
This event was made possible with the support of Mr. Narayanamurthy Sairam, whose enthusiasm and commitment to lifelong learning helped turn this vision into reality.
I remain deeply grateful to my business friends in Krishnagiri, who signed up without knowing what to expect — open-heartedly stepping into the world of NLP and self-mastery.
Outcome
he workshop marked the beginning of a new chapter — not just for the participants, but for me as a trainer as well.
It reaffirmed that small towns, though slower in pace, hold immense potential for growth, learning, and authentic human connection.
Participants walked away with practical tools to manage emotions, communicate effectively, and lead with clarity — while I rediscovered the meaning of rooted living and contribution.
