My experience with Ashok's NLP workshop (Mumbai) was a great learning experience as I un-learned and re-learned quite a few vital things about myself. The informal way in which the interactions happened outside the classes, yoga sessions in mornings, and an outing with nature - away from the trappings of a Mumbai city hotel atmosphere helped me unwind during the weekend.


I learnt
 

• To accept myself as a unique person possessing skill sets that are unique to me – this helped me improve my confidence.

• There is nothing “Right” or “Wrong” in any situation – it is the experience that matters and how the experience is perceived by different individuals. I changed my approach and this helped me reduce my stress levels

• To associate my emotions with my “wants” – this helped me sustain enthusiasm and happiness for longer sessions than earlier occasions

• That when I choose the “right set of words” for internal and external communications, I can create my own happiness, enthusiasm and passion for life and work
   

I am still learning on a daily basis practicing the above inputs and hence my NLP journey continues…….

I enjoyed the outing with nature - away from the trappings of a “Mumbai city hotel” atmosphere. Facilities for stay and food in the wellness resort  were decent.

I liked Ashok’s passion for training, style of communication – no nonsense approach, crisp talk, feel-good factor even after he gave me a critical feedback – and his genuine interest to help me develop. He ensured 100% active participation from class shedding all their inhibitions.

Ashok, I am really happy that we met and I gained invaluable lessons about myself. The learning from your NLP workshop could not have been replaced easily with reading books. It is my hope that we continue to be in touch and mutually benefit each other.

NLP Training (Mumbai) with Ashok was certainly helpful in understanding how the NLP concepts can be applied. Reading about NLP and being part of this NLP workshop are two very different experiences. The applied  NLP component has now made reading about NLP more meaningful.

I have learnt to
* Pay attention to the words as they run through my minds.
* Mindfulness – in thought word and deed
* I have always taught people to appreciate others points of view. Somehow I never bothered to check if I was doing the same. In this regard, the program was an eye-opener

The wellness resort between Mumbai & Pune was beautiful and gave a good setting for the NLP Training.

I THINK Ashok is very unassuming. That has worked in this situation. I am just wondering if my acceptance of his ideas would have been quicker if his initial impression was a little more sophisticated. I think that just reflects my prejudice again. So I guess even the persona of Ashok has acted as a challenge for me. It took me a while to stop wondering whether he is actually good, and start paying attention to his work.

This course has helped not just in sorting out personal issues but also in understanding NLP a little more. Any further program will definitely take this learning further.

There has been a lasting impression in my mind that I have all the answers within me, this gives me a very strong feel that I am capable enough to handle any situation. My experience on this programme is something I find very difficult to express through words. It was an experience that was happening more inside me rather than outside. I felt the effect of it on the very first day of the programme itself. I learnt basically that the power of our mind is something that I have never learnt to harness to think in a particular fashion. The concept of modeling of excellence attracted me quite a bit and definitely will endeavor to inquire more into it. The selection of the location - Anna University, Chennai - was most appropriate. To be in a setting where great minds have been developed over the years itself is a feeling to be experienced.

Ashok's style is very different from other trainings that I attended. No Hype or fancy technology, plain human involvement is a style that is something other trainers or facilitators need to replicate.
